Melbourne is, arguably, the sporting capital of the southern hemisphere. It's major stadium (the MCG, Melbourne Cricket Ground) can hold in excess of 100,000 people and is used year-round for both cricket and footy (Aussie rules football). It also hosts the occasional international rugby game. The Grand Prix circuit is located just outside of the city's business district.

Melbourne is a very clean and livable city. Even if the internet access is insufferably slow.
