It is not difficult to say that the city of Santiago IS the country of Chile. 6 million of Chile's 17 million live in Santiago, and any Chilean who is even remotely serious about being in business must be in Santiago. The pollution in Santiago is beyond belief (unless you live in Mexico City or Sao Paulo).
