Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, Canada
Tumbler Ridge is the centre of British Columbia's north-east coal fields. The two coal mines near town produce a high grade metallurgical coal that is used in the blast furnaces of Japan (along with iron ore) to produce steel.

T.R. is a small town that was layed out by a big city architect. There is not a single straight street in the town, and getting from the residential district to the commercial district is an exercise in fustration.
