Queen Charlotte Islands, British Columbia, Canada
The Queen Charlottes are an archipelago off the northwest coast of British Columbia. They are as close to Alaska as they are to BC.

The lifestyle of the islanders is very laid back. Even the Internet moves slowly there. Jobs tend to be seasonal so people tend to have several of them.
